The short version: your invoice data never leaves your browser. The Trebots GST Invoice Generator (the "Tool") is designed to collect as little as possible - in practice, nothing about the invoices you create.

Because the Tool processes your data only on your own device and never transmits it to us, Trebots does not receive, see, or store the information you enter, and does not act as a data controller or processor in respect of that information.

1. No collection of your invoice data

The Tool runs entirely in your web browser (client-side). Everything you type or upload - seller and buyer details, GSTIN, item descriptions, HSN/SAC codes, amounts, notes, bank details and any logo - is processed locally on your device only. This information is never sent to, received by, or stored on Trebots' servers or any third party. We have no access to it and cannot retrieve it.

2. No account; local drafts only

The Tool requires no registration or login, and we never save your invoices. For your convenience, the Tool auto-saves your current draft locally in your own browser's storage (localStorage) on this device only, so an accidental reload or tab close doesn't lose your work. This draft is never transmitted to us or anyone else - it stays on your device, and we cannot see or retrieve it. It remains until you overwrite it, use Clear draft or Reset in the Tool, or clear your browser's site data. Because it is tied to this browser, a draft cannot be reopened on another device or browser, so you should still download your PDF. Any responsibility for retaining your own invoices and records rests with you.

3. No cookies, no tracking

The Tool sets no cookies and uses no advertising, profiling or behavioural-tracking technologies. If analytics are introduced in future, they will be privacy-respecting and this policy will be updated to disclose them before they are enabled.

4. No third-party requests

Fonts and the PDF-generation libraries are served from this same website rather than from external content-delivery networks. In normal operation the Tool does not cause your browser to contact any third-party service, and no third party receives your data through the Tool.

5. Logo upload

If you add a logo, the image is read locally in your browser solely to place it on your invoice. It is never uploaded to us.

6. Information you choose to send us

If you contact us by email or through our contact form, we will process the contact details and message content you provide for the sole purpose of responding to you and, where relevant, providing the services you ask about. Our contact form is delivered to us by a third-party form-handling service; the information you submit there is used only to reach us and reply. You may ask us to delete such correspondence at any time.

7. Your control and your rights

Because Trebots holds no personal data about you arising from your use of the Tool, there is nothing in our possession for us to access, correct, export or erase on your behalf - you remain in complete control of your data on your own device. Where applicable data-protection laws (such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the GDPR) grant you rights over personal data we do hold (for example, email correspondence), you may exercise those rights by contacting us.

8. Children

The Tool is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use of the Tool after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
